Leave a comment and let me know your prediction. Abby says it will be a little brother and a little sister, I hope she's only half right or I'll really get no sleep! The heartbeat has been in the 142-146 range and Cristi says she's carrying high, so leave your prediction.

Chris & Ambers Wedding at Lantana Lodge
Chris & Amber had a lovely wedding at Lantana Lodge yesterday and I think they had a little help from upstairs. It has been raining here like Seattle as of late and even rained all yesterday morning. Heck, it's raining now! But for their wedding, the skies cleared up (a little) and let them have the outdoor ceremony on lake Ray Roberts. We shot their engagements at Austin College where they both attended school, which is one town over from where I grew up. I actually wrote my senior high school paper in that library, I of course didn't have the grades for AC. I was talking with the Judge that married them before the wedding (because I had like 4 weddings with him last year) and he was telling me how he talked Amber into AC instead of going to U of Iowa. So he kind of led them two together. I know Chris is a sous-chef in Sherman but I think they are talking about moving to New York here pretty soon, so you should be hearing his name soon at some swanky restaurant. Here's a few pics from their wedding.

Wee Tot with Little Lauren
Friends Shawn & Elizabeth had me over to get some of their little Lauren in her big bright eyes. We just shot around the house in a few different settings, here in a year or so, we'll have to get her outside and get some outdoor shots.
Here's the cutie, I know Elizabeths family checks in every now and then because I always wonder how I am getting these Arkansas hits, so here she is. Enjoy them.

Aaron & Stephanies engagements at the Las Colinas Canals
I met Aaron & Stephanie down in Las Colinas at the canals for some great engagements. If you haven't been there, it's one of those hidden gems that when you get there you can't believe there isn't more going on. It's like a mini San Antonio and I think I counted less than 10 other people the entire time we were there. Anyways here are the pics.

JJ & Ashleys wedding in Slidell
JJ & Ashley contacted me a little late in the process after their photographer fell through but luckily I had it open. Hopefully they made their trip to Mexico, Ashley was still waiting on a passport on the wedding day. They had a great wedding in Slidell and then had a great reception at an airplane hanger with some great views as you will see below.

Yep, you guessed it! I'll be a baby daddy again. Cristi's due date is Oct. 13th, but I am hoping a little sooner than that. Yep, that's a wedding day.

The Birthdays
Ok, so my birthday is the 15th, my sisters is the 16th and my brothers is the 19th... so we have always had community parties. Anyways, my brother came home from school in Lubbock and brought along his girlfriend for the trip. I'm sure we probably scared her off but here's a couple of pics from his visit home.
Here's one of my two year old holding my brother in one hand!
Here's the whole crew, my sister and boyfriend to my right and brother and girlfriend to my left.

Late Vegas Post
Ok, I have taken a little hiatus away from the blog so time to get back on it. My birthday was tax day and we headed out to Vegas sans the little one! We were booked to stay at Mandalay Bay and I heard that they have remodeled some of the rooms and to ask for the "Gold Class" room. So I did and was informed that he had already upgraded us to "The Hotel" (their super contemporary hotel attached through the casino). So we head off to the elevator and push the top floor (ok, floors 63 & 64 are the top and house the Mix Lounge), the only thing I can think of is we got upgraded for my b-day. So we gambled alot, Cristi spent alot of time in the Spa or on the beach at the pool. I'd rather play hold-em! Anyways here's a few pics:
Stepping off the elevator and down the hall to the room. So far we have passed theCafe, theStore, theCoffe Bar, etc. I'm starting to see a theme here...

did I mention "theTheme" going on here... that's right theTP!

Some Chihuly glass on the way to the elevators

If you're there, check out the shark reef
the entrance into the Luxor
Here's a shot I grabbed while in the Rum Jungle, they have these cool glass fountains with the water running down them. The lights are from the bar area through the glass.
